Postdoctoral Fellowship Projects
KIC Experimental Postdoctoral Fellowships
KIC postdoctoral fellows are high-profile, 2- to 3-year postdoctoral positions with significant independence and resources. The KIC Fellows program is designed to attract the best and brightest young researchers in nanoscale science to Cornell. They will have access to the unparalleled resources and faculty available at Cornell in nanoscale science and technology.
Bethe/Wilkins/KIC Theory Postdoctoral Fellowships
Bethe/Wilkins/KIC Theory Fellows are high-profile 2-year postdoctoral positions with significant independence and resources. This program is designed to attract the best and brightest young theorists to Cornell, where they have access to the unparalleled resources and faculty available at Cornell in nanoscale science and technology. This position is supported in part by the Hans Bethe Postdoctoral Fellowship, by the John Wilkins Postdoctoral Fellowship, and by the Kavli Institute at Cornell.
KIC Engineering Graduate Fellowship Projects
KIC graduate fellowships, available to students in their last year of PhD study, are high-profile “Finishing Fellowships” for promising young researchers who work in the area of nanoscale science. Three fellowships are available for the 2023/2024 academic year, to be awarded to promising graduate students at Cornell University in fields within the College of Engineering.
The deadline for the 2023 application cycle has passed, and the 2024 application cycle has not yet opened.
KIC Instrumentation Projects
KIC Instrumentation Projects support the purchase, development, and use of novel scientific tools and approaches for probing the nanoscale.
The 2023 application cycle has not yet opened.
